6-Day Tour of Lijiang, Dali, and Lugu Lake

Notre guide, Li, était incroyable. Il nous a fait découvrir le thé au beurre de yak dans une petite échoppe de Lijiang, et le matin sur le lac Lugu, le silence n'était brisé que par les rames du bateau en bois. Le moment le plus fou ? La soirée autour du feu avec les Mosuo, où mon mari a tenté de danser... un spectacle mémorable. On n'a jamais touché à un billet ou fait la queue, tout était fluide. Je rêve encore des lumières du coucher de soleil sur l'Erhai.

玉龍雪山のスプルース・メドウに登った日の朝、ガイドが用意してくれた酸素ボンベと防寒服が本当に役立ちました。頂上で見た雲海は息をのむ美しさで、妻と二人でしばらく無言で眺めていました。エルハイ湖での白族の歌と踊りは陽が沈むオレンジ色の光の中で行われ、湖面に反射する光が幻想的でした。ガイドの王さんが全てのチケットと移動を手配してくれたので、私たちは景色を楽しむことだけに集中できました。最終日、高原バラ園で摘んだバラを今もドライフラワーにして部屋に飾っています。

Felt like we were just floating from wonder to wonder

Standing on the Walking Marriage Bridge at Caohai with the reeds whispering all around is a memory I'll keep. Not once did I pull out my phone to book a taxi or look up a ticket price. Our guide even knew the best spot in Shuhe Ancient Town for coffee that wasn't too crowded. My friend got a bit of altitude sickness on the mountain day, and the guide was so kind, slowing the pace for her without making a fuss.

Amazing sights, I just overpacked terribly

The Pig-Trough boat ride on Lugu Lake was hilarious and beautiful. The guide handled all the logistics perfectly—we just stepped onto the boat. My complaint is entirely my own doing: I brought a massive suitcase thinking I'd need options, and hauling it myself between the old town hotels with cobblestone streets was a workout. Should have listened to the packing list! The bonfire party under the stars was a real highlight.

Lugu Lake at sunrise is something else

Waking up to the mist rising off Lugu Lake, with just the sound of water and birds, was worth the whole trip. Our guide arranged a local Mosuo grandmother to show us her home, which felt really personal. I loved not having to think; every meal, every hotel switch, every entrance was sorted. My mom, who I traveled with, kept saying 'I could get used to this' every time our luggage reappeared in a new room.

A brilliant trip, my own silly fault with the photos

The Bai ethnic dinner in Dali was incredible, the fried cheese and the singing. I ate so much I could barely move. My only gripe is with myself: I got into a proper row with my mate Tom at Spruce Meadow because he kept taking blurry photos of me with the snow mountain in the background. Wasted 15 minutes of pristine view time arguing. The tour itself was seamless—our guide just magically produced boat tickets for Erhai Lake.

Everything was just handled, it was a relief

Our guide, Mr. Li, had our cable car tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain ready before we even got off the bus—no queues, no fuss. The light on Blue Moon Valley that afternoon was this unreal turquoise, and the air smelled like pine and cold stone. My husband, who usually hates tours, spent the whole time at Lugu Lake just staring at the water, completely relaxed because he didn't have to figure out a single bus schedule.

带着六岁儿子，他比我还开心

儿子在洱海生态廊道骑了半小时单车，脸晒得红扑扑的。最神奇的是在泸沽湖，他居然安安静静坐了二十分钟等日出，虽然最后是靠在我腿上睡着了。猪槽船划到里务比岛时，他伸手去摸湖水，说‘像冰过的汽水’。我本来担心高原反应，但导游提前给了建议，行程节奏也舒服，儿子全程活蹦乱跳。最后一天在玫瑰基地，他偷偷摘了一朵（付了钱的）说要送给妈妈。

和女朋友的纪念旅行，一切都刚刚好

在蓝月谷的时候，阳光透过云层照在水面上，那种蓝绿色像宝石一样。我女朋友非要我给她拍‘仙女下凡’照，折腾了二十分钟才满意。泸沽湖走婚桥的晨雾特别梦幻，我们牵着手慢慢走，听到草丛里水鸟扑腾的声音。全程最省心的是从来不用想‘接下来怎么办’，车永远在等，门票永远在手，连古城里买玫瑰饼的小店都是导游带我们去的最地道那家。

爸妈第一次跟团，全程被照顾得特别好

带爸妈出来玩，最怕他们累着。这次完全不用操心，导游小李把票、车、吃饭全安排好了。在玉龙雪山的缆车上，我妈紧张得一直抓着我爸的手，但看到云杉坪的景色后，她笑得像个孩子。泸沽湖的猪槽船特别稳，船夫还唱了摩梭民歌，声音在湖面上飘着，特别好听。我爸唯一抱怨的是篝火晚会跳得太嗨，第二天小腿有点酸。
